Novariant Inc. seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join our team of professionals in Fremont, CA or Broomfield, CO.
Novariant is wholly owned by stockholders and employees who believe in our products and the future of precision agriculture. Novariant manufactures and markets Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers and precision agriculture and mining solutions for automatic positioning, steering and leveling. The company’s revenues have grown almost 50% per year since the launch of it first commercial product in 1999.
- Work with sales and marketing to gather a 12 month rolling forecast globally each quarter
- Roll up all forecasts to a Master reporting document that captures forecast, history, and financial goals
- Work with the operations group to coordinate demand forecast with the supply forecast and inventory position
- Work with Marketing, operations and finance to determine end users reporting requirements in order to interpret and modify forecasts
- Work with operations to incorporate sales needs, parts needs, and safety stock into final forecast to feed into final materials needs reports
- Work with Finance to understand the financial impact of changes to Sales Forecasts
- Organize and lead forecasting discussions and forecast modifications
- Do on-going process improvement to incorporate state of the art forecasting tools
- Work with engineering and operations to decrease lead times of parts and components, Work with Operations and Engineering to identify and recommend safety inventory levels to reduce lead-times
- Publish reports of forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, and other key tracking information to demonstrate the effectiveness of the forecasting process
- Implement an allocation process based on forecasted amounts
