| Duties: |
The TD will establish and lead a staff of systems and product test engineers in the definition, specification, execution and documentation of subsystem verification, system validation, and product-level testing, and will further be responsible for the determination of product-level reliability and qualification. The Test Group will interface with development engineering throughout all phases of the development process, and will interface directly with the Operations Group and Contract Manufacturers for the development of per-unit manufacturing tests. The Test Group will work with hardware development engineers on characterization and qualification at the board level, and to ensure adequate test coverage at the in-circuit and functional levels, as well as with software engineering on the establishment and use of a company-wide software configuration management and regression testing system.
- Staff and lead a team of test professionals, to perform complex-system testing, including specification, execution, measurement and documentation, via hierarchical test techniques.
- Assure quality product releases through the use of best practices in the fields of hardware, software and system level testing and QA.
- Strive for the highest quality of product manufacturing test, consistent with the lowest operational costs.
- Present regular reports to the company's senior management.

| Education & Experience: |
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of management experience leading a Quality organization. |
| Requirements: |
- Minimum 10 years' experience in QA, testing and test group management of electro-mechanical systems and end-products.
- Experience with defining and executing test specifications and documentation, including test procedures, test reports, and installation instructions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Hands-on experience with aerospace, communications, agricultural and/or machine-control equipment.
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects, including working to deadlines and resolving conflicting priorities.
- Be expert in one of hardware, software or system-level testing and be highly proficient in the others.
- Hold an appropriate 4-year technical degree or higher qualification.
- Project planning experience, especially balancing the pipeline of simultaneous product developments and releases.
- Experience in installing, operating, and trouble shooting and testing GPS products or other radio products would be a benefit.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and machinery would be an advantage.
- This position requires domestic travel and limited international travel.
