| Job Responsibilities: |
Novariant Inc. seeks an experienced, top-notch Account Payable Professional to join our team of accounting operations professionals in Fremont, CA. We operate in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-tasking environment, and you must be able to work well under pressure. This position will report directly to the Corporate Controller.
We're looking for a hands-on candidate to help build the accounting organization and drive continuous process improvement.
- Managing and responsible for full cycle accounts payable duties.
- Ensure that invoices are entered timely and accurately.
- Ensure transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Development and review of processes to further streamline our A/P cycle.
- Receive and respond to vendor and employee inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor accounts.
- Prepare and enter month-end general ledger accruals.
- Maintain Accounts Payable Aging report.
- Preparation of wire transfers, checks payments, etc.
- Assist in Travel account payments and data base management.
- Assist in 1099 research and filing.

- MS Office Suite
- Startup mentality, self-sufficient and able to work with limited resources.
- Previous experience with SysPro accounting software.

| Skill Requirements: |
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Must have 3-5years of experience in Accounts Payables
- Ability to work with both external vendors and internal customers
- Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Team orientation and positive approach
- Ability to balance multiple activities
