Program Manager - FILLED

Job Responsibilies: Novariant is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to join our team of professionals in Fremont, CA.
  • Own and maintain delivery schedule for assigned partner projects.
  • Coordinate engineering level communication between Novariant and the Partner working closely with applicable Novariant Project Managers and FSTs to provide adequate pre- and post-release support.
  • Work closely with Business Development to review and understand contract terms and customer delivery requirements.
  • Gather technical customer requirements, schedules/milestones and coordinate with various Novariant departments to map these into Engineering Specifications and Development Outlines.
  • Execution of all deliveries working closely with all departments.
  • Work closely with Novariant Engineering Managers, Software Engineers, Operations, FSTs, QA, Marketing and Sales to provide accurate and timely product information to our partners.
  • Work with Engineering Project Management to determine implementation strategies and estimates on customer specific issues/items.
  • Work closely with the Partner Marketing, Partner Program Management and Partner Engineering teams to ensure their requirements are being communicated internally to Novariant.
  • Be a key go to Novariant person to help facilitate information flow and provide quick response to partner questions and requirements.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Skill Requirements: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • B.S. in Computer Science or software development experience preferred.
  • 6+ years in engineering management or commercial software or hardware project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software development cycles.
  • PMP certification desired (strong plus)
  • Strong Windows platform knowledge.
  • Proven track record and direct experience with partner delivery and engineering support.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel to partner sites.
  • Experience in the Agricultural industry segment preferred.
  • Experience with GPS location based services or devices preferred.
