| Overview: |
Novariant is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self motivated and creative individual to fill the position of Software Engineer.
The position will entail new features development to a highly specialized Linux based embedded application. The candidate should be comfortable working within industry standard processes throughout the life cycle of software development including definition of requirements, initial design, implementation, and design verification and test. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to grasp the unique requirements of a new and exciting industry.

| Job Requirements: |
- Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering with strong programming emphasis
- 2+ years experience developing Linux applications
- Strong understanding of object oriented software design.
- Well-versed in C++
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Bilingual; French & English

| Beneficial Experience: |
- Experience in complex multi-threaded applications
- Experience with Quantum Framework or messaging passing framework
- Experience with Java/AWT/SWING a plus
- Experience with Internet protocols, TCP/IP programming, WiFi/Cell modem a plus
- Innovative thinker and problem solver, able to work independently
- Independent, proactive and efficient
